Terms and Conditions of Sale

  1. We may revise prices without notice. Prices will be those that are agreed at the point of order. Any invoice query should be made in writing within 10 days of receiving the goods. All prices exclude VAT which will be calculated on your invoice at the rate currently in force. Price quotations will be valid for 2 months from receipt.
  2. All accounts are payable in full within 30 days of invoice date unless the buying customer has written confirmation of alternative terms. Hygequip reserve the right to refuse sale or reduce these terms (to be given in writing) if this condition is not being met.
  3. We cannot accept liability for delay in delivery caused by an external delivery firm.
  4. Orders for goods may not be cancelled without written agreement from one of our Directors. Orders for goods made to special delivery may not be cancelled.
  5. All orders over £200 are carriage paid. Elsewhere carriage may be charged in addition to the standard price. Orders for less than £100 are not normally accepted for credit accounts.
  6. Shortage of goods or damage must be notified by telephone within 3 days of delivery, and confirmation in writing within 7 days of delivery, or no claim can be accepted. Delivery of obviously damaged goods should not be accepted. Notifications should be given a delivery note number, a list of products damaged, and details of the type of damage. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection.
  7. Acceptance of goods implies acceptance of all of the above conditions.
  8. Under some circumstances we may cancel the contract without notice or compensation. Such circumstances would include inability to obtain materials, labour, supplies, strikes, lockouts and other forms of industrial action or dispute, fire, flood, drought, weather conditions, war, civil disturbance, act of god or any other cause beyond our control making it impossible to fulfil the contract.
  9. We strictly do not offer a sale or return policy unless written confirmation is received.
  10. Goods may only be returned if the fault adheres to the conditions of the guarantee.
  11. Until they have been paid for we reserve our title in goods supplied. They remain the property of Hygequip Europe Ltd
  12. Any Invoice not paid in full by the due date shall attract interest at the rate of 7.5% per month.
