HQ are one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Hygiene and Insect Control Products in Europe. Our products are exclusively distributed through our regional, national and International distribution network. We have pursued a strategy of backward vertical integration into specialist UK manufacturing to compliment our extensive international sourcing and production. The result is a far reaching capability in design, manufacturing and distribution of high quality hygiene products. HQ have the ability to offer OEM aerosols, metal fabrication and plastic mouldings for volume production in addition to providing excellent service and flexibility on our own branded range.

HQ are ISO-9001 accredited and extremely proud to produce and design a large proportion of our products in the UK. We have a preference for working with UK Suppliers from an operational and environmental perspective. All our overseas partners are ISO-9001 and vetted to ensure that working conditions correspond to the levels expected of their accredited status. Environmental and Social Responsibility

.We are fully compliant and members of the WEEE directive (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) 2002/96/EC which mandates the treatment, recovery and recycling of electric and electronic equipment. WEEE/BF01735Y

All of our products are fully conform to the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC which restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.

All products are compliant with COSHH Regulations (known as the control of substances hazardous to health.)

All of our manufacturing partners and chemicals covered by the scope of REACH regulations are either registered or pre-registered and meet all the current registration requirements of REACH. REACH is the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.

HQ are 100% committed to reducing our environmental impact and have consciously selected a transport carrier that shares our values. DPD were sited as the leading transport company in the UK for reducing carbon emissions in 2008 by the Chartered Institue of logistics and Transport. This was largely due to their unique advanced notification system which prevents unnecessary trips if the reciever is not going to be present. HQ source only recycled packaging and re-use every box possible. We also attempt to sell in outer box quantities to reduce packaging waste and damages which will ultimately lead to a greater than necessary carbon footprint.

We offer a 'bike to work scheme' to all employees to encourage the reduction in the use of cars.

2009 will see HQ becoming a proud donator to the Prostate Cancer Charity, an organisation that aims to raise the awareness of one of the major killers of males in the UK today and funds research into cure and prevention. November will see all the male staff of HQ growing moustaches for the awareness event known as 'Mo-vember'
